Singapore is a city state that is host to a very advanced market economy with a large port and manufacturing base with close ties to western economies. Seoul in South Korea is also home to a large high tech manufacturing economy with many automotive and electronics companies. Macau and Hong Kong are close cities in China that have large economies based on manufacturing, tourism and gambling. These cities attract a lot of foreigners for settling and traveling due to their high pace of life.
